Angela Pezza Conway, Psy.D

Licensed Clinical Psychologist/President

Dr. Conway is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families, in a variety of mental health settings including: hospitals, private practice, therapeutic day schools, and community mental health. She specializes in the treatment of Mood, Personality, Trauma and Attachment disorders. Her special interests include Reactive Attachment Disorder, ADHD, Issues regarding Divorce, Adoption Issues, At-Risk Youth as well as Parent Education/Training, Post-Partum Depression and Gender Dysphoria.

Her approach therapy is unique and is based on the needs of each individual. She supports Mindfulness based interventions and conceptualizes cases from a psychodynamic perspective while incorporating specialized treatments such as Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma and Attachment, and Play Therapy.

​Although she does not prescribe, Dr. Conway has a strong background in psychopharmacology and enjoys educating clients about medication and how they work in the brain. She collaborates with many psychiatrists in the mental health field in order to provide the highest quality of care for her clients. Dr. Conway also understands that there is a time and a place for medications and it is not necessarily for everyone. Therefore she is open to providing a wholistic approach to therapy, when needed.

Dr. Conway can not emphasize enough the importance of the therapeutic relationship. She believes that it is this unique relationship that fosters the clients growth, insight, self-awareness and overall success in treatment, as well as, influences the clients ability to establish and maintain healthy relationships with others.
